Did you know that ticket sales from a sell-out concert at the Barbican will not cover the costs of the performance?
The LSO is one of the world's leading orchestras, giving 60 concerts a year in the Barbican and an extensive international touring programme with residencies in New York, Paris and Aix-en-Provence. The Orchestra also delivers a pioneering education and community programme, LSO Discovery, and an award-winning record label, LSO Live.
By supporting the LSO you will be helping the Orchestra maintain its world-class reputation and fulfil its mission to make the finest music available to the greatest number of people.
The LSO's partners and supporters work with us in all areas of our activity enabling us to:
- Attract the best orchestral players, world-class soloists and artists
- Nurture the next generation of emerging composers, conductors and performers
- Reach over 60,000 people each year through LSO Discovery
- Encourage wider participation through affordable ticketing for our resident concert season at the Barbican
